The place now features a buffet that easily beats the other one up the road --- most notably because no one in my party got sick after eating here like always happened at KB. They have a fresh cooked abaci area in the back included in the price where they cook your food fresh to order. They have multiple stations on the buffet, including one that features salads and vegetables, another with non-Chinese dishes, and teo more with a sorted American-Chinese food, and a sushi/sashimi man, and lastly dessert that even includes ice cream. They had lots of options including that they even had pork-fried, white, brown, and sticky rice. My only complaint: that it was difficult to get the attention of someone so we could order sodas to go with our meal. However once ordered, they come in very large cups and refill seemed to be free and flowing.

Since it re-opened as Emperor's Buffet, I've gone there twice. The weekday lunch ($9 and change) was fine. I avoided the raw sushi and had California roll (good!) and some of the Chinese food dishes, all good. The chicken teriyaki on a stick is quite good. I went back tonight - Tuesday - ($16 and change) and had some of the raw sushi as well as oysters (fresh but not so tasty) and raw clams (fresh and tasty) and some of the Chinese food. The sushi and sashimi were lined up under heat lamps (!!) so although it seemed fresh enough (no tummy aches) it was not cold... so I'd call it questionable. The place is very clean and well laid out. I'd go again, but probably avoid the raw sushi/sashimi unless they start putting it on ice. By the way, no liquor license, in case you were wondering.

This restaurant has reopened and is now named "Emperor's Buffet". I visited last night for take out. The room is beautifully arranged with the buffet tables in the center. There's soft music playing. The color motif is a soft blue and well lit. The sushi bar is located at the far end. The owner and one of the cashiers came over to greet me like an old friend. The prices are reasonable, the portions generous, and the selections are very tasty. I'm delighted to have this establishment back, bigger and better! Highly recommended.

This was newly renovated and reopened, renamed "Emperor's Buffet." Very clean buffet. Well-laid out (the buffet is in the dead center), food is good. Sushi is available, as is a Mongolian barbecue. Sushi tasted fresh and is stored at a good temperature. The selection is wide and the fruit buffet is impressive. One can actually have a semi-healthy meal here, if you can manage not to overindulge. The bathrooms are newly redone and very clean. Very nice addition to the shopping center. We will be going back.
